Vampire Dreams, Gabrielle Bisset

Sweet, Sexy Dreams.....

Vampire Dreams, a novella by Gabrielle Bisset is a fantastic, although short, read. The author packs a whole lot of story into the approximately 60 page tale of sensual vampire desire.

Brandon, the hero is one-hundred percent seducer, beckoning the sweet, if down on her luck, Arden in her witching hour dreams, hoping and waiting for her to accept him in her daylight awakening. But winning Arden's heart is not our hero's only challenge. His hedonistic sire, the powerful and ancient Vasilje, holds the power to bequeath or deny Brandon's request to bring his lover into his world, and upon witnessing the lure of Arden's innocent beauty, Visilje's enthrallment threatens to claim her for his own.

Using each page wisely, Bisset ably created threads of sexual tension throughout her novella, and the hero's entrance into Arden's dreams allowed the author to write an erotic vampire seduction while maintaining the heroine's uncertainty of t…

New Meme: Broads Under Cover

Welcome to our new theme ~ Broads Undercover........
We Broads have been seeing some very interesting covers lately, and we wanted to showcase them. Some are really good, and we think they deserve not only praise but congratulations for great artistry. Then again, some are really bad, and there's just no way they shouldn't be called out for what they are. Our posts on these covers have nothing to do with the author's writing. These are just observations on book covers, no more and no less. And most of all, these are our opinions. You may agree or disagree, but we welcome your comments.

We begin our journey into the world of covers with a good one.  Always start with the positive, right?  This cover is from a Carina Press book titled Lessons In Indiscretion by Karen Erickson.

Alexandria:  I like this cover a lot!  It's sexy without being lurid.  And hello?  That man's body makes me want to be the pupil who learns all about his lessons.  And there is a woman in the…

Scoundrel's Honor by Rosemary Rogers

Dangerous Crime Overlord Aids A Lady In Need.................

Dimitri Tipova, crime overlord in St. Petersburg, Russia, agrees to aid the impossible Emma Linley-Kirov in the search for her abducted younger sister for one reason - revenge against the man who fathered him and killed his mother, but the young woman enchants the dangerous scoundrel like no other has done before.
Emma, to his chagrin, wants no part of his generous offer to become his mistress, and makes it clear that the goal of finding her sister is her priority, and Dimitri, no matter his effect on her, is merely the means to an end.  The Beggar Czar seduces her body, but is unable to claim her trust, leaving the door wide open for another to attempt to do just that.

Rosemary Rogers has been writing romance novels for a long time and Scoundrel's Honor is one her her latest, published in 2010.  Her first, Sweet Savage Love is on this Broad's TBR pile.  Rogers created a wonderful storyline in Scoundrel's Hono…
